Job Summary The Local Coordinator plays a vital role in managing community-based programs and initiatives. This position involves organizing and overseeing volunteer activities, recruiting new volunteers, and fostering strong relationships within the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social work, experience working with students, and excellent organizational skills to ensure the success of various projects. As a key member of our team, the Local Coordinator will support program goals by coordinating efforts between volunteers, partner organizations, and community members to create meaningful impact. Duties Manage and coordinate volunteer activities, ensuring smooth operations and engagement. Recruit, train, and support volunteers to meet program needs and objectives. Develop and implement outreach strategies to attract new volunteers and community partners. Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate program participation. Organize events, workshops, or activities that align with program goals and serve the community effectively. Provide guidance and mentorship to volunteers and participants, fostering a positive environment. Track program progress, maintain records, and prepare reports on volunteer involvement and community impact. Assist in developing educational materials or resources for participants of all ages. Qualifications Experience in volunteer management or coordinating community programs. Clean Background Drivers license and transportation available if needed . Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups. Experience working with students or youth is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Passion for community service and making a positive difference in people's lives.
