Through social groups, adaptive skills programs, educational workshops, community events, fundraising initiatives, and inclusive spaces, we're building a place where everyone belongs. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Marketing, Community Outreach & Events Coordinator to help us share our mission, grow our community, and connect more families with our programs. Position Details Position:
Part-Time (10-20 hours per week to start)
Pay:
$25-35 per hour, depending on experience Flexible schedule Hybrid position (remote with occasional on-site visits in Sacramento/Natomas for content creation, events, and community outreach) Opportunity for additional hours and career growth as the organization expands Responsibilities Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms. Plan and schedule social media content using a monthly content calendar. Capture photos and videos during groups, workshops, community events, and fundraisers (with appropriate media consent). Edit engaging Reels, TikToks, and other short-form videos. Design flyers, graphics, brochures, and promotional materials using Canva. Help maintain and update our website. Work alongside our SEO company to improve our online presence and local search rankings. Assist with Google Business Profile updates. Create and send email newsletters. Build relationships with schools, therapists, businesses, community organizations, and referral partners. Help coordinate community events, educational workshops, vendor fairs, and fundraising events. Assist with nonprofit fundraising campaigns, donation drives, sponsorship outreach, and community awareness initiatives. Help recruit and promote volunteer opportunities. Gather photos, stories, testimonials, and marketing materials that can be used for grants and fundraising. Brainstorm creative ideas to help our organization continue growing and reaching more families. Track basic marketing analytics and suggest ideas for continued growth. Qualifications We're looking for someone who is: Creative, energetic, and passionate about making a difference. Organized and able to manage multiple projects independently. Comfortable creating videos, graphics, and written content. Friendly, professional, and excited to connect with the community. Passionate about inclusion and supporting neurodivergent individuals and families. Self-motivated and able to take initiative. Preferred Experience Social media management Canva CapCut or similar video editing software Meta Business Suite Basic website editing (Squarespace or WordPress is a plus) Basic photography or videography skills Experience with community outreach, nonprofits, fundraising, or event planning Knowledge of SEO is a plus (not required) Experience working with children, families, education, healthcare, disability services, or nonprofits is a bonus Why Join Mosaic Minds Foundation?
