Full Job Description Job Summary :

the SE Harris Community Coalition Coordinator is responsible for Southeast Harris County coalition management and development of county specific needs assessment, strategic planning, logic models and coordination of members and activities. The Coalition Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the community coalitions' work plan.

Qualifications:

Fluent in Spanish and English a plus. Strong preference for a candidate certified in substance abuse prevention (APS/CPS), or community health education (CHES), or community health work (CHW). Must have strong communication skills and be well organized with the ability to multitask. Education and/or

Experience:

Must be willing to obtain APS status with the intention of achieving CPS. This position requires knowledge of the Strategic Prevention Framework model and experience with Logic Models, Needs Assessments, and Program Evaluation.

Work Environment:

This position operates within the boundaries of SE Harris County.

Office and Community setting depending on activity and local travel required. Some evenings and weekends will be required leading to flexing time schedules.
