Veteran Outreach Ambassador Renovia Behavioral Health - Wilmington, NC Part-Time | $35,000 Annually | Flexible Schedule Renovia Behavioral Health is seeking a Veteran Outreach Ambassador to help build relationships with military bases, veteran organizations, charities, referral partners, and community leaders for our outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program and affiliated sober living community in Wilmington, North Carolina. Outreach will initially focus on Wilmington and southeastern North Carolina , then expand throughout North Carolina and into neighboring states as Renovia grows. Our goal is to expand to approximately 10 locations within a 250-mile radius of Wilmington over the next 3-5 years , with veteran care remaining a major focus of our organization. Responsibilities Develop relationships with military installations, veteran organizations, charities, nonprofits, and community partners. Educate organizations about Renovia's outpatient SUD treatment and sober living resources. Attend meetings, networking events, veteran events, and community outreach opportunities. Develop and maintain referral and partnership relationships. Track outreach efforts, contacts, follow-ups, and potential opportunities. Help identify unmet needs within the veteran community. Participate in weekly meetings with the Chief Expansion Officer to review progress and establish outreach priorities for the upcoming week. Ideal Candidate We are seeking a veteran with strong leadership experience, communication skills, credibility, and a genuine passion for helping other veterans.

Preferred backgrounds include:

Former commissioned officers Special Operations Forces Senior enlisted leadership Other distinguished military leadership experience Existing relationships within military or veteran communities Experience with veteran organizations, outreach, behavioral health, or addiction treatment Lived experience with substance use disorder or recovery is highly valued but not required. Additional preference will be given to candidates who are currently an SUD counselor, addiction professional, peer support professional, or behavioral health professional , or who are interested in pursuing a career in addiction counseling. Schedule & Compensation This is a part-time position paying $35,000 annually with a highly flexible schedule. There are no traditional fixed office hours, and the position can be structured around family responsibilities, another job, school, or other commitments. Some daytime availability and occasional travel will be necessary for meetings and outreach. Applicants should be located in Wilmington, elsewhere in North Carolina, or within reasonable proximity to the primary outreach territory . Why Renovia?
