As a Customer Outreach Assistant, you'll work directly with community members at events, outreach campaigns, and public engagement initiatives, helping connect the nonprofit's mission with the people it serves. The Customer Outreach Assistant serves as an important link between the nonprofit and the Nashville community. Through in-person conversations, educational outreach, and relationship-building, the Customer Outreach Assistant helps introduce charitable programs, increase brand awareness, and encourage community involvement. Responsibilities of the Customer Outreach Assistant Represent our nonprofit client at community events, outreach campaigns, and public engagement initiatives. Engage directly with client prospects and community members to introduce charitable programs and fundraising initiatives. Educate clients about the nonprofit's mission, impact, and opportunities for involvement. Build meaningful relationships with clients through professional, informative, and engaging conversations. Share stories and real-world examples that help clients understand the value of supporting charitable programs. Support fundraising efforts by helping clients learn about donation opportunities and community involvement options. Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and client interactions. Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve campaign and fundraising goals. Qualifications of the Customer Outreach Assistant High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in customer service, client services, fundraising, community outreach, hospitality, retail, or related fields is a plus but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable speaking with clients and community members in face-to-face environments. Passionate about community involvement and nonprofit initiatives. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and eagerness to learn professional outreach, fundraising, and relationship-building skills.
