Responsibilities Lead grassroots community organizing efforts to connect with culturally diverse populations and underserved communities Develop, implement, and evaluate outreach programs that promote health, wellness, and social engagement Collaborate with community partners, local organizations, schools, and healthcare providers to expand program reach Manage volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and recognition to support outreach initiatives Utilize social media management and marketing skills to raise awareness about programs and events Collect data on community needs and program outcomes to inform continuous improvement strategies Represent the organization at public speaking engagements, health fairs, and community meetings with enthusiasm and professionalism Requirements Proven experience in community outreach, grassroots organizing or social work within diverse populations Strong volunteer management and supervising experience with team leadership capabilities Excellent public speaking skills coupled with effective written communication abilities Knowledge of program development, project management, marketing, and data collection techniques Technical proficiency in social media platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and community outreach tools Ability to work collaboratively with community partners while demonstrating cultural sensitivity Bilingual skills are highly desirable; experience working with underserved communities is essential Certifications such as CPR or addiction counseling are a plus but not required; relevant training will be provided if necessary Organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience teaching youth programs or conducting public health initiatives is advantageous Join us in creating impactful community programs that foster connection, wellness, and empowerment!
