Job Description
Job Overview The Community Engagement Coordinator serves as a representative of Thriving Hearts Crisis Center by strengthening community relationships, coordinating volunteer engagement, delivering prevention education, supporting outreach and communications efforts, and promoting awareness of agency services throughout the service area. The coordinator also assists with CRM data management and provides limited direct client support, including hotline coverage as needed. Duties Recruit, onboard, train, coordinate, and recognize volunteers and interns. Build and maintain relationships with community partners, businesses, schools, healthcare providers, civic organizations, and faith-based groups. Represent Thriving Hearts Crisis Center at community meetings, outreach events, resource fairs, and networking opportunities. (Or assign/train volunteers to attend events) Deliver presentations, training, and prevention education programs to community groups and professional partners. Assist with community awareness campaigns and outreach initiatives. Support agency communications through social media, newsletters, outreach materials, and event promotion. (as needed) Maintain accurate records and activity data within the agency CRM. Assist with donor acknowledgements, volunteer records, and community engagement tracking. Attend Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT), and other community partner meetings. Provide crisis hotline coverage and basic client support as needed. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities. Assist with agency events and perform other duties as assigned. Willingness to travel to multiple counties as needed. Guadalupe, Gonzales, WIlson and Karnes.
