Duties Assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating public health programs tailored to community needs Conduct outreach activities to educate and engage culturally diverse populations about health topics such as nutrition, disease prevention, and wellness strategies Collaborate with community organizations to facilitate health promotion events and workshops Collect and analyze data related to program outcomes, ensuring accurate documentation using EMR/EHR systems Provide client-centered support through motivational interviewing and effective communication techniques Support community engagement efforts by developing materials in multiple languages and working with bilingual populations Maintain knowledge of public health laws and policies to ensure program compliance and best practices Requirements Experience in nursing, social work, or related health fields with a focus on community health or public health program planning Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or from underserved communities Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report writing and data management Knowledge of public health law policies and community outreach strategies Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations through community engagement and outreach activities Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse communities effectively Basic life support certification or willingness to obtain upon hire is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction, public speaking, and report development Experience with data collection methods, nutrition education, and motivational interviewing techniques is advantageous This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully to public health efforts while developing your skills in program development, community engagement, and health education.
