Business Development Manager/Marketing Utah Based Synergy PT Provo, UT Job Details Part-time 20 hours ago Qualifications Customer relationship building Passenger vehicle Health insurance policy knowledge In-person customer service Schedule management Driver's License Customer engagement Full Job Description Business Development Manager (BDM I) - Utah County Based Synergy Physical Therapy | Part-Time or Full-Time About the Role Synergy Physical Therapy is looking for a Business Development Manager to be the friendly, trusted link between our patients, our clinical team, and the referral sources in our community. This is a relationship-driven role for someone who genuinely loves helping people. You'll guide patients from their very first phone call all the way through evaluation and into care, while also building the physician, legal, and community partnerships that help our clinics grow. If you're a natural relationship-builder with a service-first mindset and an interest in healthcare, this could be a great fit. It's flexible too: we're open to part-time or full-time, depending on what works for you and the business. Will need to be local in Utah county to facilitate visits and other in person meetings. What You'll Do Patient Experience & Advocacy Make sure every new patient gets a prompt call after their initial consult Coordinate and confirm Initial Evaluation visits, rescheduling as needed Stay in touch with patients after that first contact so nothing falls through the cracks and their experience feels smooth and supported Be a go-to resource for new patients and their families, answering questions and offering guidance on their treatment options and next steps Check in on patient satisfaction (NPS) and follow up after evaluations and first visits to see how things are going Referral & Community Relationships Build and maintain referral relationships across medical, legal, and community networks Keep in regular touch with referring health professionals to stay top of mind Come up with and run strategies that grow revenue from existing referral sources and bring in new ones Represent Synergy at health fairs, senior centers, and other community events Set up lunches, meet-and-greets, and other ways to build relationships with referral partners Nurture physician relationships and manage outreach lists (like MD drop-offs) Territory & Business Planning Keep an eye on territory performance by reviewing referral reports regularly and flagging any drop-off in business Build a sales and growth plan for each clinic in your territory Track new evaluations that come from your outreach Help manage and grow Synergy's social media and marketing efforts Develop monthly marketing themes and messaging across channels Join weekly marketing meetings with ownership and leadership What You Bring Required At least 2 years of experience in a patient care environment Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills A genuine knack for customer service, with an empathetic, kind, engaging personality Good organizational and time management skills, and the ability to keep yourself on schedule A valid, non-revoked passenger vehicle driver's license Be able to be on-site to visit offices and develop relationships in person A working understanding of health insurance basics Preferred A bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience A clinical or allied health background or certification such as ATC, CNA, MA, EMT, Surgical Technician, LVN, PTA, Physician Extender, OTA, or similar (helpful, but we'll train you) Good to
