Job Description

We are looking for a leader who is kind, caring, and compassionate. Our vision includes someone who loves God, and loves us - someone who can provide relatable, educational and inspirational sermons. As we move forward, we are looking for someone who models empathy, understanding and love. The leader we think would best fit would be someone who will not only embrace, but also become an active member of, our loving community. We believe that our new rector will bring opportunities to deepen our Christian education and spiritual formation through sharing their gifts of open communication, caring pastoral support, and a good sense of humor!

Our parishioners include a diversity of ethnic, religious and economical backgrounds, and we are looking for a rector who is sensitive to all needs. Our rector will be an excellent listener, provide a welcoming environment for existing congregants as well as newcomers, and someone who will embody the joyful community that we strive to be.

In short, we want to welcome a new member to our family, not just lead our church. That person will share our joys and sorrows, encourage and support us, and remind us to laugh on a regular basis.
