Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive children's ministry programs that align with the organization's faith-based mission and values. Lead, train, and support volunteer teams to ensure effective delivery of children's activities, religious education, and special events. Coordinate age-appropriate religious teachings, including Bible stories, prayer sessions, and faith-based lessons that resonate with young minds. Foster strong relationships with children and their families through mentoring, pastoral care, and regular communication to promote ongoing spiritual engagement. Organize community outreach initiatives, mission work projects, and family events that enhance community involvement and reinforce faith principles. Oversee safety protocols, including childcare policies and child protection procedures, ensuring a secure environment for all children. Manage program logistics such as scheduling, curriculum planning, event planning, fundraising efforts, and resource allocation to support ministry activities. Requirements Proven experience working with children in religious or educational settings; experience in religious organization childcare is highly preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate volunteers and staff while fostering teamwork and community spirit. Knowledge of pastoral theology, religious studies, Christian counseling, and youth engagement strategies within a faith-based context. Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with children, parents, volunteers, and church leadership. Demonstrated ability to plan events, organize programs, and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Background in youth ministry or pastoral work with a focus on mentoring and youth programs teaching experience is desirable. Experience in nonprofit faith-based organizations or religious organizations' community engagement initiatives is a plus.
