In this vital role, you will oversee the development and execution of engaging faith-based programs that nurture spiritual growth, foster community engagement, and promote positive values among young people. Your leadership will empower volunteers, collaborate with families and church staff, and create a welcoming environment where students can explore their faith confidently. Duties Develop, coordinate, and implement comprehensive student ministry programs that align with the organization's mission and values. Lead recruitment, training, and management of volunteer teams dedicated to youth engagement and religious education. Foster relationships with students, families, and community partners to encourage participation and spiritual development. Organize events such as retreats, service projects, worship nights, and mission trips that promote community involvement and faith exploration. Provide mentorship, pastoral care, and religious counseling to students navigating personal or spiritual challenges. Collaborate with church leadership to integrate youth programs into overall organizational activities and outreach efforts. Oversee religious studies classes, youth group meetings, and other educational initiatives focused on Christian teachings and social work principles. Manage fundraising efforts to support youth programs, including grant writing, donor engagement, and event planning. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to religious organization childcare experience while working with children or minors. Promote a positive environment that encourages open communication, mentorship, and social-emotional well-being among youth participants. Experience Proven experience in youth ministry or pastoral work within a religious organization or nonprofit faith-based setting. Demonstrated leadership in volunteer management and community engagement initiatives. Strong background in religious teaching, religious studies instruction, or Christian counseling. Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or social work contexts. Familiarity with event planning, fundraising strategies, and social work practices related to youth services. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse age groups and backgrounds. Knowledge of pastoral theology principles combined with hands-on experience in mentoring youth through faith-based activities. Prior experience working as a clergyperson or religious leader involved in youth engagement programs is highly desirable.
