We are offering a paid Full-time Family Ministry Director position for our growing congregation. Our mission is to love God, love people, and build bridges. We aim to encourage growth for the whole family. Among the expectations and responsibilities for the position: 1. Plan and lead the children's and youth programs on a weekly basis. 2. Lead by humble example in personal Christian conduct 3. Use skills to inspire and encourage parents and children to a deeper faith. 4. Organize, direct, schedule and coach multi-member team of nursery, pre-k, elementary, junior high and high school volunteers to a thriving ministry. 5. Plan aspects of church dedicated events and outreaches. 6. Manage and nurture a growing youth and children ministry at CSCC. 7. Able to work under the guidance of the Senior Minister and Board of Elders

JOB SUMMARY

Calumet Street Christian Church in southern Illinois, one hour east of St. Louis, seeks a full-time Youth Minister with spiritual maturity, solid leadership skills, and doctrinal beliefs embraced by Independent Christian Churches. The congregation runs 200 in weekly attendance and has successful adult, small groups, teen, children, and preschool ministries.
