Full Job Description Discipleship Support Staff Department/Group:

Program Coordinator Position Type:
Part-Time (5-10 hours per week)
Compensation:
Volunteer/Hourly Schedule:
Weekly Bible study + Teen Night participation (2 Evenings/Wk)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Weekly Bible Study (40%) Prepare and facilitate or support weekly Bible study for teenage participants Foster relevant discussion and engagement rather than lecture-only teaching Create a safe, respectful, and spiritually inviting environment Support Teen Night Spiritual Programming (30%) Attend and participate in a weekly Teen Night (League Night or Equip to Serve) Support logistics associated with planning, executing and debriefing teen night(s) Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to align content with overall ministry/learning goals Relational Mentorship (20%) Build consistent, appropriate mentoring relationships with teen participants Provide encouragement and spiritual guidance within program boundaries Model Christ-like character, humility, and servant leadership Support teens navigating life challenges with love, grace, and wisdom Collaboration & Communication (10%) Meet regularly with the Program Coordinator for alignment and planning Communicate any concerns regarding teen well-being to supervising staff Participate in required trainings and uphold child safety policies
Qualifications:
Spiritual & Character Requirements Actively walking in a mature Christ-like faith Demonstrates consistent spiritual disciplines Alignment with the theology and mission of 10:12 Sports, with an emphasis on the inherent dignity of our Image Bearers Emotionally mature, humble, and teachable Experience & Skills Experience mentoring or discipling young adults (church, ministry, coaching, etc.) Comfortable teaching Scripture in an engaging and relational way Strong relational presence and ability to connect with youth Ability to work collaboratively under program leadership Background check required
