Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant faith community as a Faith Formation Coordinator, where you will inspire spiritual growth and nurture faith development Kindergarten through High School. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to lead engaging religious education programs, foster youth engagement, and support the spiritual needs of our children. Your role will be vital in creating a welcoming environment that encourages learning, mentorship, and community connection rooted in Christian values. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive faith formation programs for children & youth, that aligns with our spiritual mission. Lead religious education classes, youth group activities, and special events focused on faith development and community service. Provide mentorship and spiritual guidance to the youth of our Parish. Coordinate volunteer efforts for youth engagement initiatives, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young participants. Collaborate with clergy prepare young people for sacraments of First Eucharist, First Reconciliation, and Confirmation Manage program logistics, including scheduling, communication with participants. Proven experience in teaching religious studies or faith-based education within a nonprofit or church setting. Qualifications Strong background in youth engagement, mentoring, or pastoral care, especially with children and adolescents. Current programming K-6 Faith Formation, 7-12 Youth Ministry, Homeschool and Children's Liturgy of the Word. Experience working as a clergyperson or in a leadership role within a faith community is highly desirable. Be an active member of a Catholic parish faith community. Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with diverse age groups and community members. Skilled in volunteer coordination, and program management to ensure successful program delivery. Knowledge of Christian counseling techniques, hospice care principles related to grief support, and bereavement services. Demonstrated ability to lead with compassion, foster teamwork, and inspire others through positive leadership. Join us in making a meaningful difference by guiding others on their spiritual journey! Pay:
$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
