Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Ministry Director to lead and nurture our children's spiritual growth within a vibrant faith-based community. This dynamic role involves developing engaging religious programs, mentoring young minds, and fostering a welcoming environment where children can explore their faith confidently. The ideal candidate will bring energy, leadership, and a heartfelt commitment to guiding children on their spiritual journey while collaborating with families, volunteers, and church leadership to create impactful experiences rooted in Christian teachings. Duties Design and implement age-appropriate religious education programs that inspire faith, moral development, and community engagement among children. Lead and coordinate weekly children's church services, Sunday school classes, and special holiday events that promote active participation and spiritual growth. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to support children's ministry activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all participants. Foster strong relationships with families by providing mentorship, spiritual guidance, and support through individual interactions and group activities. Organize outreach initiatives such as mission work projects, community service events, and youth engagement programs that align with the church's mission. Oversee safety protocols related to religious organization childcare to ensure compliance with all regulations and best practices. Collaborate with church leadership to develop strategic plans for expanding children's ministry outreach, fundraising efforts, and community involvement initiatives. Experience Proven experience working with children in religious or educational settings, including youth ministry or Sunday school teaching roles. Demonstrated leadership skills in volunteer management, event planning, and program development within faith-based organizations. Strong background in religious studies, pastoral theology, or related fields with experience in religious teaching or religious organization childcare. Knowledge of Christian counseling principles, mentoring techniques, and social work practices relevant to youth engagement. Experience working as a clergyperson or in pastoral roles that involve youth engagement and community outreach. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with children, parents, volunteers, and church staff. Familiarity with nonprofit faith-based organization operations, fundraising strategies, and community engagement efforts is highly desirable. From $40,000.00 per year
