Orenco Church is seeking a part-time Director of Children's Ministry to lead our vibrant Sunday program and seasonal events with heart, vision, and joy. Located in the heart of Hillsboro, Orenco Church is surrounded by young families and schools. We believe children are not just the future, they're the now. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in just 10 hours a week, while working alongside a supportive staff and community. Key Responsibilities Lead Sunday morning programming for children (Preschool-5th grade) Recruit, train, and encourage volunteers Plan and support seasonal events like VBS, Trunk or Treat, and Easter Egg Hunt Build relationships with families and create a welcoming, safe space Select curriculum and manage supplies with creativity and care Communicate clearly through newsletters, social media, and church platforms
