We are a well-established church community, and minister to neighbors near and far. In addition to in person worship on Sunday mornings, thanks to the dedicated eforts of a talented technology team, HNCC offers online ZOOM access to link members and friends across he country. Served by a half-time pastor, church membership is modest but faithful and hard working. The expectations that members hold for themselves are high when it come to: Providing excellent spirit-filled Sunday worship Nurturing a culture of care and extravagant welcoming Partnering energetically with local civic and religious organizations Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Church Administrator to keep the church's communication tools current and accessible. The generation of content is primarily the responsibility of church members and staff. This vital role ensures that maintaining the flow of content is circulated and in good order. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities that require regular attention as needed are: Monthly Newsletter- Staff will provide an electronic copy to candidate who will print a hard copy to be mailed to a list of recipients and then emailed to another list of recipients Pastoral Letters-Print and mail to the congregation 2x a year Worship bulletins to be printed for Christmas Sunday, Christmas Eve, Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday as well as when requested for special occasions during the year Stewardship Kits-print, collate and mail to the congregation 1x a year Annual Report-Email and print several hard copies for members who do not receive electronic version Online Calendar-Update as items are communicated by staff or communications chair HNCC email-Check the congregations email account 3x per week and respond as needed or forward to appropriate staff member Voicemail-Check the congregations voicemail at least 3x per week and respond as needed or forward to appropriate staff member Directory-Keep an updated copy as members are added or removed Weddings, Baptismals and Funerals-Maintain an accurate account of all sacraments for quick reference when inquiries are made Responsibilities that require on site duty Routinely (at least 1 x a week) work in the church office to assess office supplies, stationary, toner and paper Check mail at least 1x per week and distribute as necessary File documements and complete printing responsibilities Qualifications Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with spreadsheets for budgeting and recordkeeping Proven ability to handle oral and written confidential information appropriately Collaborative and cheerful temperament Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Pass Criminal Offender Background Check (CORI)
