Job Description
Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Rehab Liaison, you will be responsible for coordinating the acute rehabilitation admission process including pre-admit screening, financial authorization, communication with the program medical director and rehab director. Every day, you will actively engage with existing referral sources, nurturing those relationships, while simultaneously identifying and cultivating new clients to expand our referral base. A critical part of your role involves consulting with physicians to complete appropriate pre-screening documentation, ensuring all necessary information is gathered for patient admissions. To be successful in this role, you will possess clinical experience, combined with a strong understanding of rehabilitation services. You will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, capable of effectively connecting with referral partners and physicians. A proactive approach to business development, meticulous attention to detail in documentation, and a passion for advocating for patients in need of rehabilitation will be essential in maintaining and growing our inpatient population.
