In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the growth and success of our educational programs by guiding and supporting future beauty professionals. This position is based in Sacramento, California.

YOUR ROLE
As an Admissions Counselor, you will devote your time to attracting new student enrollments through a variety of initiatives such as career fairs, open houses, community expos, and networking events with high schools and salons. Your responsibilities will include organizing and managing leads within a customer relationship management (CRM) system and maintaining consistent follow-up with prospective students by phone, email, text, social media, and mail. You will conduct informative tours and screening interviews, utilize social media and online tools to engage potential students, and ensure that all application paperwork is completed accurately and promptly. Collaboration with the Financial Aid Team will be necessary to help qualified applicants secure financing solutions. Additionally, you will provide career and motivational counseling to prospective, current, and graduating students, set and manage enrollment goals, lead and motivate the Admissions Team toward achieving enrollment goals, and serve as a positive representative of the school's creative culture.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
High school diploma or equivalent (A bachelor's degree is a plus) 2+ years of experience in business-to-consumer sales Proactive, positive, energetic go-getter with a passion for promoting the school Sales ability in a consultative, mentoring model High proficiency with computer technology, including social media, presentation software, and business applications Effective organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong leadership ability Reliable and punctual with a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays
YOUR HOURS
The Admissions Counselor position is full-time and on-site in Sacramento. The schedule requires flexibility, including some evenings and Saturdays, to accommodate prospective students and participate in events essential to the admissions process.
