Job Description
Career Systems Development Corporation seeks an Admissions Counselor to recruit, screen, and enroll eligible young adults into Job Corps programs. In this onsite role, you will conduct outreach in schools and community organizations, present program information, interview applicants, and guide them through the admissions process. You will maintain accurate records, meet enrollment goals, and collaborate with instructional and support teams. This position supports CSD's mission-driven, student-centered culture by helping young adults access education, training, and career opportunities. Responsibilities Recruit and engage prospective students through school visits, community events, and outreach activities Conduct admissions interviews and assess applicant eligibility for Job Corps programs Present program information to students, families, and community partners Guide applicants through application, documentation collection, and enrollment steps Maintain accurate admissions records and data in student information systems Collaborate with center staff to ensure smooth transition of enrolled students Meet or exceed monthly and annual enrollment and outreach goals Support a student-centered, inclusive environment aligned with CSD's mission Provide basic counseling and referral to support services as needed Prepare reports on outreach, applications, and enrollment metrics for management review Required Skills Student recruitment Admissions processing Case management Data entry and reporting Public speaking Interviewing and assessment Community outreach CRM or student information systems Time management Microsoft Office
