Official Position Title:
Events Officer) (0.5 FTE) and Admissions Officer (0.5 FTE) The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) is the leading specialist educator for game development, 3D animation and VFX. Established in 1996 as a non-profit organization to grow the creative digital sector, AIE pioneered specialist education in these fields throughout our campuses in the United States and Australia. Events Officer (0.5 FTE) AIE is looking for an enthusiastic events officer (0.5 FTE) to actively promote AIE's courses to prospective students through school visits, college fairs and other outreach events. This is the first point of contact and as such the candidate plays a critical role in communicating the strengths and benefits of studying at the AIE.
The selected candidate must demonstrate:
Excellent public speaking skills, with a demonstrable friendly and positive attitude. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Proven ability to convey complex information, ideas and concepts to a variety of different audiences. Demonstrated experience working with school communities, relevant industry and associations with the ability to build rapport and client focused relationships. A sound knowledge of secondary and tertiary education systems. Event management skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to operate in a team environment, contributing positively to the operations and working relationships. Ability to work autonomously and within a team. Demonstrated positive work ethic and the willingness to learn new systems. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Interest in games and animation is an advantage. Admissions Officer (0.5 FTE) AIE is looking for an enthusiastic sales professional seeking employment within the creative and progressive industries of game development and animation. The candidate will play an integral part of the admissions team through the recruitment and nurturing of prospective students into AIE. The selected candidate must have a proven sales and customer relationship management background.
The ideal candidate would have:
Minimum of two years sales representative or account management experience. Experience in building strong relationships with a diverse customer base. Have CRM (HubSpot or equivalent) experience. Accuracy and excellent attention to detail. Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to operate in a team environment, contributing positively to the operations and working relationships. Ability to work autonomously and within a team. Demonstrated positive work ethic and the ability and willingness to learn new systems. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Interest in current generation games and animation is an advantage. This position offers at an award-winning educational institution.
