Since its founding in 1857, Saint John's Preparatory School has provided exceptional education in the Catholic Benedictine tradition. Saint John's Preparatory School is a Catholic/Benedictine, co-educational, day and boarding college preparatory school for students in grades 6-12, with boarding options beginning in the 9th grade. Saint John's Prep is located on the 3,000 acres of woods and lakes of Saint John's University's campus in central Minnesota. Prep has continuously dedicated itself to both educational development and personal formation. Operating with a high degree of professional autonomy and independent judgment, the Admission Associate partners with the Director of Admission and Enrollment Management to shape institutional enrollment strategy. This role requires self-directed execution, specialized expertise in enrollment management, and proactive leadership to design and deliver a world-class, welcoming admissions experience for prospective families. Responsibilities:
Primary Enrollment Duties:
Design, lead, and scale recruitment initiatives and major admissions events, including Discovery Days, immersive campus tours, open houses, shadow visits, and targeted family/student showcases. Strategically manage, direct, and cultivate the Parent Ambassador and Student Ambassador programs to maximize community-led recruitment efforts. Serve as a liaison, proactively partnering with faculty and academic leadership to integrate academic showcases into overarching enrollment campaigns. Maintain, analyze, and leverage complex CRM database metrics to inform enrollment strategies and pipeline adjustments. Serve as a voting member of both the Admission Review Committee and the Tuition Committee, actively shaping financial aid strategies and variable tuition policies. Represent Saint John's Prep, acting as a trusted advisor to prospective families, external consultants, and regional educational partners. Initiate and oversee admissions internal and external Saint John's Prep correspondence efforts. Administrative & Secondary responsibilities Deliver elevated consultative relationship management to prospective families across all channels (in-person, digital, phone) from initial inquiry through final enrollment. Drive strategic operational planning during critical admission cycles, leveraging independent judgment to maintain dynamic workflow pacing and communication benchmarks. Execute auxiliary administrative leadership tasks aligned with the professional scope of the office, alongside secondary operational coverage for the Assistant to the Principal. Oversee and evaluate global educational trends and pursue professional development to ensure high-level expertise in enrollment and retention practices. Develop additional enrollment initiatives consistent with the professional scope of the Admission Office.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years of demonstrated success in admissions or comparable sales-related experience. Ability and willingness to travel locally for admissions related events. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong phone and people skills. Demonstrated computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Experience in school admissions — prior work in admissions, residential life, domestic or international programs, or independent school settings Cross-cultural communication competency — comfort working with families, consultants, and partners from diverse cultural backgrounds Relationship-based sales experience — demonstrated success in recruitment, outreach, or consultative sales environments Familiarity with SEVIS and F-1 regulations — prior experience as a DSO or working with international student compliance Event planning and public speaking experience — ability to represent the school at fairs, conferences, and community events Experience with CRM-driven enrollment pipelines — especially in independent school or higher-education contexts Knowledge of global education markets — awareness of trends in educational settings

PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Ability to sit, stand, and move between campus buildings for extended periods. Frequent use of computers, phones, and digital communication tools. Capacity to lift and transport materials up to 25 lbs. Ability to travel by car to local events for recruitment purposes, extended periods of walking, and carrying materials during any travel.
