The Client Access Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for ANEW's residential, outpatient, and recovery residence programs. This position coordinates referrals, admissions, and intake processes while serving as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, families, and referral partners. The Client Access Coordinator ensures timely admissions, accurate documentation, and a welcoming, person-centered experience for all individuals entering services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Admissions & Intake Coordinate admissions for residential, outpatient, and recovery residence programs. Receive and manage referrals by phone, email, fax, and in person. Schedule intake appointments and admission interviews. Complete nonclinical admission paperwork, releases of information, funding forms, and required documentation. Enter and maintain client information in the electronic health record. Coordinate counselor assignments and communicate admission information to the treatment team. Maintain treatment group rosters, waitlists, and recovery residence occupancy lists. Respond to inquiries from prospective clients, families, referral sources, and community partners. Educate prospective clients and referral partners about ANEW's programs, services, and admission process. Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and community organizations. Participate in outreach and community engagement activities as assigned. Ensure admission processes comply with agency policies and Minnesota 245G requirements. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient admissions and continuity of care. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in human services, business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred. Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, admissions or administrative support preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Experience working with diverse populations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records (Procentive preferred). Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment. Current CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver's license preferred. About
