Rosedale Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an energetic, results-driven Admissions Director to lead our admissions and business development efforts. Position Summary As our Admissions Director, you'll play a key role in driving occupancy, strengthening referral relationships, and ensuring every resident experiences a seamless transition into our facility. You'll work closely with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and our interdisciplinary team to connect patients with the exceptional care they deserve. What You'll Do Develop and maintain strong referral partnerships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, assisted living communities, hospice agencies, home health providers, and other healthcare professionals. Serve as the primary point of contact for referrals, admissions, residents, and families. Coordinate the admissions process from referral through admission, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Conduct facility tours and educate prospective residents and families about the services and programs offered at Rosedale Health & Rehabilitation. Develop and implement strategies to increase census and strengthen market presence. Monitor referral activity, admissions trends, occupancy goals, and marketing initiatives. Represent the facility at networking events, healthcare meetings, community events, and professional organizations. Collaborate with clinical leadership and the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely admissions and smooth resident transitions. Maintain confidentiality while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and all federal, state, and company regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Healthcare Admissions, Marketing, Community Relations, Business Development, or Social Services. Demonstrated success in developing referral relationships and increasing census. Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and customer service skills. Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance authorization processes is preferred.
