Job Description

Job Summary The Kids 1st Academy (K1A) Coordinator is responsible for all facets of the day-to-day management and operation of K1A in conjunction with the Jacksonville First United Methodist Church (JFUMC) and state licensing requirements, so that a standard of excellence is maintained. The K1A Coordinator represents the church in this ministry and upholds the church's mission statement that we are "making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world." The K1A Coordinator is responsible to plan, organize, implement, coordinate and control services of K1A. Exercising independent judgment and decision-making authority as delegated including policies, procedures and staff supervision.

Develop a Curriculum and program Ensure compliance with regulations Oversee staff Manage facilities Manage a budget Market the Academy Partner with parents and teachers Prepare reports Collaborate with JFUMC Children's Director Other duties as assigned This position is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about early childhood development to make a meaningful impact while working in a vibrant team setting!
Pay:
$35,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
