Responsibilities:
Childcare Workers Supervise and engage children during play, learning activities, meals, naps, and outdoor time to ensure their safety and happiness Implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and creativity Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about children's progress, behaviors, and daily experiences Follow all safety protocols including first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws to respond promptly to emergencies or incidents Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care in accordance with individual plans Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques to foster respectful interactions among children
Responsibilities:
Management Positions Oversees the daily operations, staff, and educational programs of a child care facility to ensure a safe and nurturing environment Maintain accurate records for children and staff, manage enrollment, and oversee marketing efforts Track expenses, order supplies, and handle inventory Supervise teachers and support staff. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required; pediatric first aid training is a plus Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Passion for teaching young children, toddler care, infant care, and supporting early childhood development Have the ability to oversee the daily operations, staff, and educational programs of a child care facility to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
