We are seeking a Group Facilitator to join our team. Applicants must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service Field; Master's Degree preferred. This position is responsible for facilitating structured groups of approximately 8-10 adult or adolescent participants. Facilitators guide participants through an established curriculum of discussions and exercises designed to help them develop skills, examine behaviors and choices, and make positive changes in their lives. Each group meets once per week. Groups are generally held Monday through Thursday in the evening, approximately 5:30-7:30 p.m. The specific day may vary by group assignment but remains consistent from week to week. Successful facilitators must be able to: Be dependable, well-organized, prepared, and on time for each group session. Explain concepts and teach new skills in a clear, understandable manner. Consistently follow and enforce program expectations regarding attendance, participation, homework, and other program requirements. Facilitate group discussions in an organized and encouraging manner while keeping participants engaged and discussions consistent with program goals. Establish appropriate rapport with participants while maintaining professional boundaries and accountability. Experience facilitating groups and/or experience in a mental health, social services, education, criminal justice, or related setting is preferred.
