Job Description

Parent Educator - Bullock County The First Teacher Home Visiting Program is seeking a motivated and compassionate full-time Parent Educator to serve families in Bullock County. The Parent Educator will work directly with families through home visits, supporting parents with children from prenatal age through age five . This position helps families promote healthy child development, establish a strong foundation for school success, and identify and achieve family goals. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular home visits with families who are expecting or have children from birth through age five. Provide parents with information, guidance, and support related to healthy child development. Help families establish goals and develop strategies to achieve them. Support parents in preparing their children for success in school. Build positive, respectful relationships with parents and caregivers. Connect families with appropriate community resources and services. Participate in community outreach and family engagement activities. Maintain accurate and timely documentation and case records. Communicate effectively with families, community partners, and program staff. Manage a schedule of home visits and other program responsibilities in an organized manner. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Services, or a closely related field . Extensive case management experience preferred. Experience working with children and families. Experience with community outreach and connecting families to resources. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with computers and common office technology. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Motivated, dependable, compassionate, and family-focused. Required Qualifications Must reside in Bullock County. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation for conducting home visits. Current automobile insurance. Ability to travel throughout Bullock County to conduct home visits. Why Join the First Teacher Home Visiting Program?
