The ideal candidate will assist technicians and staff with maintaining organized work areas, handling tools and supplies, and supporting efficient and safe appliance-service operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with routine back-of-house and service-support activities. Organize tools, equipment, appliance parts, and service supplies. Prepare work areas for appliance inspection, maintenance, and repair activities. Assist technicians with moving, positioning, and organizing appliances as needed. Load, unload, and transport appliances, tools, parts, and materials safely. Receive, sort, label, and properly store service parts and supplies. Maintain accurate organization of inventory, tools, and equipment. Monitor supply levels and report shortages, damaged items, or missing parts. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Clean and organize tools, equipment, and service areas after use. Assist technicians with basic non-technical tasks during service assignments. Help prepare materials and supplies for scheduled service work. Report equipment damage, workplace hazards, or maintenance concerns to supervisors. Follow safe handling procedures for appliances, tools, parts, and materials. Follow workplace safety, sanitation, and company procedures. Assist with general shop organization and other operational duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous appliance service, warehouse, maintenance, utility, or general labor experience preferred. Basic understanding of workplace organization and equipment handling. Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and detail. Ability to follow instructions and established procedures. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a hands-on environment. Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic. Ability to safely lift, carry, and move appliances and supplies. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
