Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive social services to individuals and families, ensuring they receive the support and resources needed to thrive. Your energetic approach will help foster positive change within high-risk populations, including children, individuals with disabilities, and culturally diverse communities. You will be instrumental in crisis intervention, child welfare, and family support efforts, working collaboratively with clients and community partners to promote safety, stability, and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs, developing tailored care plans that address child protective services, child & family services, and social welfare requirements. Provide crisis management and crisis intervention to individuals experiencing urgent mental health or safety issues, ensuring immediate safety and connecting clients with ongoing resources. Support high-risk populations by implementing child welfare initiatives, working with families to strengthen relationships and improve outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress notes using Microsoft Office tools and other relevant software. Engage in conflict management and communication with clients, families, and community agencies to facilitate effective service delivery. Deliver first aid and CPR when necessary during emergency situations, ensuring client safety at all times. Work with culturally diverse communities by demonstrating sensitivity and understanding of different backgrounds while providing social work services. Assist clients with disabilities by coordinating appropriate support services and advocating for their needs within the social services system. Experience Proven experience working with children, families, or high-risk populations in social work or related fields. Familiarity with child protective services protocols and child welfare legislation. Demonstrated ability to manage crises effectively through crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—to clearly convey information to clients and team members. Experience working with individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds; bilingual skills are highly valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Knowledge of social services systems, including working with families facing complex challenges such as disabilities or mental health issues. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality while supporting clients through conflict management processes. Join us in making a meaningful difference!
