The Calaveras County Office of Education ("CCOE") partners with our four local school districts and the community to provide quality education to our county's 5,270 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grades. We manage alternative education programs for students at Calaveras River Academy, Mountain Oaks Charter School (an Independent Study program), and Oakendell Community School. We also offer adult education services, and a variety of special education services as the Responsible Local Agency ("RLA") for the Special Education Local Plan Area ("SELPA"); including, five special education preschool programs and a program for transition-aged young adults (ages 18-22). CCOE is now hiring for a variety of full and part-time positions, whether serving in the classroom or supporting operations outside of the classroom. Job Summary Job Summary Under the supervision of the School Site Administrator or Designee, plans and performs a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, heating, and other building maintenance and repair tasks necessary to maintain facilities in a safe and satisfactory condition; performs a variety of custodial duties and associated recordkeeping necessary to support daily operation in a clean, orderly, and secure condition.
