A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

Job Requirements Required Masters or other from a School of Social work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education. At least two (2) years of clinical and/or medical social work experience. Excellent customer service and presentation skills are a must. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects effectively. Ability to work independently as needed with a high degree of detail orientation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
