Qualifications The Position:
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Education Services, the Coordinator of Multilingual Programs will supervise, monitor, and evaluate restricted and general fund programs/district projects as appropriate. The Coordinator will be responsible for overall program planning, implementation, reporting, and evaluation of multilingual (English Language Development - ELD) and Dual Language Immersion programs.
Qualifications:
Must possess a Master's Degree, a California Administrative credential, four years of teaching experience, bilingual Cross-Culture credential and/or a Bilingual Certificate of Competence, experience in a Dual Language Immersion school or program, at least one year of verifiable experience in a non-classroom leadership position such as department chair, grade lead, instructional coach, etc., two or more years of administrative experience at the district and/or site level in coordinating and supervising Multilingual Learner programs, experience in organizing monitoring, and evaluating educational programs, and experience in supervising and providing assistance to personnel. Bilingual in Spanish and/or Mandarin is preferred.
