Qualifications:

California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential required Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential required Full professional fluency in Spanish and English Previous experience as a school social worker or in educational settings preferred Deep understanding of early elementary (TK-5) child development and family systems Strong communication, cultural competence, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

Provide direct social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health support to students in both Spanish and English Conduct group and individual counseling for students, responding to academic, social, and emotional challenges Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and community organizations Participate in student assistance programs and multidisciplinary team meetings Develop and implement intervention and prevention strategies tailored to at-risk students Advocate for equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices within the school Support teachers and staff by offering resources and consultation for classroom management and crisis response
