Your Role:
Family Support Advocate Pay:
$25/hourly
Your Toolkit Should Include:
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in human services or related field + 1 year supporting children and families in crisis OR Option 2: 3 years of direct experience working with families facing crisis (domestic violence, homelessness, child abuse, etc.) Bilingual English/Spanish Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and communities Knowledge of local social services and community resources Strong documentation and tech skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Flexibility to work evenings and some weekends

Your Superpowers Include:
You'll be the steady, empowering voice that supports families navigating crisis and challenge.
You will:
Deliver Family Support, Case Management, and Differential Response services for at-risk families, caregivers, unaccompanied youth, homeless families, military families, and individuals with disabilities. Provide strengths-based assessments, crisis intervention, and linkages to life-changing community resources. Coordinate with County social workers and community providers to prevent child abuse and out-of-home placements. Meet families where they are
- in their homes, schools, community spaces, or at the Family Resource Center.
Lead and support Life Skills workshops, FRC events, and community-building initiatives. Document all services using FaCT-approved tools and systems, including VistaShare and Welligent. Support agency-wide initiatives in Trauma-Informed, Resilience-Oriented Care (TIROC) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI Perks That Pack a
