Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the assigned administrator, assists in providing direct services to homeless students and families in crisis within the District. Assists in providing case management for families with complex needs. Assists in training and ongoing support of school site Point of Contact and serves as a resource to school staff. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
AND/OR TRAING
High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two (2) years working in a community agency in programs providing guidance, social supports, or case management of homeless or foster students.
Examples are public health, law enforcement, or educational systems.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
AND/OR TRAINING
- Some college and work experience with McKenny Vento laws in education.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Experience working with children in the educational setting or with school safety issues.
- Experience working with law enforcement, social work, clergy, or other community agencies.
