WHO WE ARE
Oasis Trilingual Community School is a TK-8th grade independent, non-profit school located in Monrovia, CA. We serve approximately 85 students and have a deeply connected parent and staff community. Our mission is to nurture curious, compassionate, and confident learners through a trilingual immersion program in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. We are seeking an engaged, flexible, and creative team member who enjoys working with children and contributing to a collaborative school community. This full-time role includes supporting students throughout the school day and leading After School Care. Responsibilities also include helping maintain and care for our campus environment.Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 10:15 AM-6:15PM Pay Rate:
DOE (Depends on Experience)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead After School Care, including snack supervision, homework support, and student activities Supervise lunch recess, TK nap/rest time, and student dismissal Serve as the primary adult on campus from 4:00-6:00 PM, including locking up campus and following safety procedures Support facilities needs including trash removal, light cleaning, organizing materials, errands, and minor campus tasks Lead enrichment activities based on interests and experience (examples: art, gardening, drama, film, music, cooking, sports, etc.) Communicate professionally with parents and staff as needed Monitor student safety and support positive conflict resolution Provide basic student first aid (bandages, temperature checks, etc.) Bring positive energy, reliability, and enthusiasm to working with childrenREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree or higher Ability to lift 25 pounds Basic computer skills, including email and file organization Must pass LiveScan (FBI/DOJ fingerprinting) background check and TB testPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1-3+ years experience working with children Bilingual in English and Spanish or Mandarin Warm, friendly, proactive, and collaborative demeanor with students, families, and colleaguesJob Type:
