A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

Competitive Compensation:

Earn between $36.22 â $39.53/hr, plus shift loadings and 12% Super.

Your day-to-day will involve:

Supporting children in developing essential daily living skills. Facilitating social outings and community engagement. Maintaining accurate case notes and progress tracking. We value passion, heart, and lived experience alongside the right foundations to succeed in this role.

The Essentials:

Qualifications/Identity:

You must hold a Certificate III or Certificate IV (in Disability, Community Services, or a related field) OR identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. A valid NSW Driver's Licence. Current First Aid & CPR certifications. A Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Check.

Availability:

Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster.
