Full Job Description Description:

San Francisco General Hospital is seeking an experienced medical social worker (MSW) for a 13-week acute care assignment.

Schedule:

Days, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including weekends

Pay:

Up to $55/hr or $2,310/week (based on 40 hours)

Location:

San Francisco, CA (SFGH) In this role, the social worker will assess patients' psychosocial needs, provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling, facilitate discharge planning, coordinate services, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Requirements:

MSW degree required Minimum 1 year of hospital or clinic experience Experience with psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and case management Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care/trauma environment. Social Worker - MSW -
