We are seeking dependable, professional, observant, and compassionate individuals who are comfortable working with children and families involved in custody and family court matters. We are actively interviewing candidates now for our upcoming September training class.
IMPORTANT TRAINING REQUIREMENT - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
Candidates selected to move forward must complete the required 24-hour Professional Supervised Visitation Provider Training through the California Association of Supervised Visitation Service Providers (CASVSP).
The upcoming training sessions are:
September 12: 8:00 AM-3:00 PM September 14: 5:00 PM-8:00 PM September 17: 5:00 PM-8:00 PM September 21: 5:00 PM-8:00 PM September 24: 5:00 PM-8:00 PM Attendance at all training sessions is required. Registration opens August 29 at 6:00 AM and is first-come, first-served. Candidates moving forward should be prepared to submit a $160 training registration payment. A group discount may apply depending on the number of participants registering through our agency. If the final registration cost is lower, the applicable difference will be refunded. Please apply only if you are available for ALL training dates and are prepared for the training registration expense. Position Responsibilities Supervised Visitation Monitors are responsible for observing and documenting court-ordered visits between parents and children while maintaining a safe, neutral, and professional environment.
Responsibilities may include:
Supervising parent-child visits and exchanges Maintaining neutrality throughout visits Closely observing interactions Taking detailed and objective notes Completing required visit documentation and reports Following court orders and agency policies Communicating professionally with parents, staff, and agency leadership Maintaining confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries Availability This position is ideal for individuals with afternoon, evening, and weekend availability, as many supervised visits take place outside traditional business hours. Flexible availability is strongly preferred. Ideal Candidates We encourage applicants with backgrounds in social services, behavioral health, education, childcare, law enforcement, corrections, family services, case management, psychology, sociology, or related fields to apply. We are also interested in dependable candidates who possess strong communication, observation, documentation, and conflict-management skills.
