• School-Based Therapy Program (SBT): School-Based Therapists work to address the unmet mental health needs of students by working with school counselors, teachers, and administrators. The SBT position receives referrals from the counseling departments of the school (or schools) that the SBT is assigned to. SBTs provide primarily individual and group counseling with some opportunity to work with families as well as the school community. SBTs also work to support the population's mental health through stigma reduction, mental health prevention/messaging, mental health education, and psychological first aid. Qualifications Required:

Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Counseling (LPCC), or Clinical Psychology. Active license issued by the California state's licensing board. Recent experience counseling adolescents and younger children in a clinical or school setting

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in developing and implementing goals for progress in social emotional and self-regulation skills. Strong communication skills for effective consultation with parents/teachers/staff of children with social emotional needs. Flexibility/organizational skill managing student caseload. Familiarity with databases to document service delivery/clinical notes. Ability to complete ERMHS assessments as necessary. Spanish bilingual candidates preferred.
