$21.00•$23 per hour

Part-Time Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday (2:00pm•6:00pm) & Wednesday (1:00pm•6:00pm) Overview Strategic Kids is seeking energetic, compassionate, and dependable Youth Leaders to support students in engaging after-school programs. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about education, mentorship, and child development who want to make a meaningful impact in students' lives. As a Youth Leader, you will help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. You'll work closely with staff and students to support educational activities, encourage positive behavior, and lead enrichment opportunities throughout the program day. Responsibilities Supervise and engage groups of up to 20 K-8th grade students, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment Lead and facilitate enrichment activities, games, and academic support across areas such as STEM, arts, and physical education Support lesson plans, educational activities, and homework assistance Foster social-emotional growth using positive behavior strategies that promote respect, empathy, and community Collaborate and communicate effectively with staff and families while maintaining organized and safe program spaces Travel between multiple school sites as needed Requirements Must Have Minimum 3 months of experience working with children in a professional, volunteer, or educational setting High school diploma or equivalent required Demonstrated passion for education and child development Must be within 30 minute commute of Solana Beach, CA Must be 18 years or older Nice to Have Students pursuing Education / Child development / Psychology coursework or degrees encouraged to apply Experience in after-school programs, summer camps, tutoring, or youth mentoring Experience supporting students with special education needs Bilingual communication skills
