A full-time contract opportunity awaits an experienced Social Worker at a TK-5 immersion school, providing support to a diverse student body. The role begins at the start of the new academic year on August 6th. Applicants must hold both PPS and LCSW credentials and be bilingual in Spanish to effectively engage with students, families, and staff in both English and Spanish. Qualifications and Experience:

Valid LCSW and PPS credentials required Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English Prior school-based social work experience preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in immersion or bilingual settings Understanding of culturally responsive practices

Core Responsibilities:

Provide direct counseling and social work services to TK-5 students Conduct needs assessments and develop intervention plans Support the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students within an immersion school context Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a supportive learning environment Engage in crisis response and prevention as necessary Participate in individual and group intervention settings Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives for student wellness As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant school community and help young learners thrive.
