TactStaff EDU is seeking a School Social Worker for a full-time, onsite position in Denver, Colorado, supporting early childhood and elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for a compassionate, collaborative school-based social worker who is passionate about supporting students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs. This position works closely with teachers, special education teams, administrators, families, and related service providers to help students succeed in the school environment. A valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Social Worker license/authorization AND a Master's degree are required to be considered.

Education:

Master's degree in Social Work required School Social Worker Responsibilities Provide school-based social work services to early childhood and elementary students Support students with social-emotional, behavioral, developmental, and academic needs Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, eligibility discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings Provide individual and small-group counseling and social-emotional support Conduct social/developmental assessments and assist with identifying student needs Develop and implement interventions based on student and IEP needs Collaborate with special education teachers, general education teachers, school psychologists, counselors, SLPs, OTs, administrators, and families Support students with behavioral and emotional challenges Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Communicate with parents, caregivers, educators, and community providers Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral support, and student safety as appropriate Maintain compliance with school district and Colorado education requirements Advocate for student access, participation, and success within the school environment

Qualifications Required:

Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Social Worker license/authorization Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related qualifying degree Ability to work full-time onsite in a Denver-area school Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Experience supporting children and/or adolescents

Preferred:
