Overview Join our dynamic team as a Bilingual Family Time Supervisor and Parenting Coach, where you will play a vital role in strengthening family bonds and promoting healthy childhood development. Responsibilities Facilitate supervised family time sessions between children and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Provide coaching to parents and caregivers on effective parenting techniques, child development, and conflict management strategies. Conduct crisis intervention when necessary, managing situations with sensitivity and professionalism. Maintain detailed case records, including notes, incident reports, and family time logs in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Collaborate with child protective services, family law professionals, and other social service agencies to coordinate care plans. Promote cultural competency by respecting diverse backgrounds and tailoring approaches to meet individual family needs. Testify in court under subpoena. Qualifications Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a human services field (sociology, psychology, criminal justice, social work, etc.) A minimum of 2 years working in the human services field is required. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, with excellent client communication skills in both languages. Experience working with children, families, or individuals with disabilities within social services or child welfare settings. Knowledge of childhood development, behavioral health, crisis management, and child protective services procedures. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and family law practices related to child welfare cases. Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity when working with diverse populations.
