Job Description

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic individual to join our Extended Day program. This position involves supervising and engaging students after school in a safe, positive, and supportive environment. Our program serves students ranging from toddlers and preschoolers through Pre-K and Kindergarten all the way to 8th grade. Responsibilities may include supervising play, assisting with activities, helping with homework, supporting transitions, and creating a welcoming after-school atmosphere for students of all ages. Qualifications College degree preferred OR at least 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education required Experience working with children preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Reliable, patient, and team-oriented Responsibilities Supervise students during after-school hours Ensure student safety and well-being Lead games, activities, and enrichment opportunities Assist younger students with basic needs and routines Support a positive and respectful environment Communicate professionally with staff and families Pay Starting pay is $25 per hour Increased pay opportunities available for staff who can commit to all five days per week, with compensation ranging from $35
  • 40 per hour depending on availability and consistency Hours and Availability Starting late August, early September Lasting through the end of the school year in May, but contracted quarterly Monday
  • Friday 3:15 PM
