After School Site Educators:
Starting with the 2026-2027 school year.
What we are looking for:
We are currently seeking part-time After School Site Program Educators for our before
  • and after-school programs located inside the Weld RE-8 schools. ;This role will begin at the end of July 2026! ; The after-school site locations and shift will be: ; Butler Elementary
  • 3:15 pm
  • 6:00 pm Twombly Elementary
  • 3:15 pm
  • 6:00 pm Kenneth Homyak Elementary
  • 2:15 pm-6:00 pm
After-School Site Educators:
starting at $20 per hour (based on education, years of licensed group childcare experience) Part-Time Position Details
  • Fall 2026-2027
School Year:
After-School hours. Must be able to work Monday through Friday. Located in the Weld RE-8 School District.
Part-Time Schedule:
Before and After School Split-Shift•
NO WEEKENDS!
Start Date:
July 2026, if wanting to work at the summer camp prior to fall 2026-2027
Starting Wage:
$20 per hour (depending on years of licensed group childcare experience and educational qualifications in a group setting) Please take a minute to read the requirements as a reminder for the role to see if this is a good fit for you!

  • Part-Time Monday-Friday (2:45 pm-5:45 pm) ;

Immediately State Licensing Requirement
  • Verifiable experience
  • 460 hrs w/ group supervising 4 or more children (one-on-one care, nanny, and babysitting do not qualify, must be classroom ;or licensed group childcare type supervision) of school-aged children (must be in this age range
  • kindergarten-6th grade)in a licensed childcare location and was able to manage children without supervision; OR 40 clocked hours training/coursework department-approved courses playground/safety Will be able to provide a letter from a licensed childcare type facility showing at least 460 hours of supervising school-age children (kinder-6th grade) and three professional references that will be verified if hired You'll drive the mission by: Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observation Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all children Meets regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability Ideal Candidates will have the following: Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills Works well in a team environment At least one year or 460 verifiable hours of experience working with school-age children under 5-13 years of age Ability to lift 25lbs Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed
