Key Qualifications:

Valid licensure as a School Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado Demonstrated experience supporting K-12 students, particularly at the elementary and high school levels Proven background working within school settings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Strong understanding of social, emotional, and behavioral development in children and adolescents Excellent communication, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills Ability to manage varying caseload sizes with compassion and attention to individualized needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and implement support plans for students Provide counseling services to address social, emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges Collaborate with educators, families, and outside agencies to create supportive environments Facilitate group sessions and preventive programs in classrooms and school communities Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans Advocate for student access to school and community resources Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and confidentiality requirements Enjoy the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, ranging across different grade levels, providing vital services to a vibrant school community.
