Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity seeks experienced Social Workers to support a K-5 school located in Golden, CO. The role involves conducting student assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations, essential to the special education process. Full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time (15 hours per week) schedules are available, Monday through Friday, with all work conducted onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete comprehensive assessments, re-evaluations, and evaluations for students in kindergarten through fifth grade Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings in person to present assessment results to parents Collaborate closely with the IEP team to ensure compliance with educational regulations and complete the necessary documentation Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with school staff and families

Qualifications:

Valid Social Worker license for the state of Colorado School Service Provider (SSP) Certificate Experience working in school settings preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school teams

Location:

Onsite position based in Golden, Colorado at an elementary school serving K-5 students
